Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our third report card will be released on Friday, April 15th. We encourage you to review your child’s progress with them by accessing their report card through ManageBac. We have scheduled two evenings to connect with parents discuss this report card and your child’s progress. These interviews are for Gr 6 to 11 students as our Gr 12s will be writing their final exams. Additionally, we are focusing on academics so we will not be completing interviews for Advisory at this time.

Teachers will be available for appointments for Parent-Teacher Interviews as follows:

  • Tuesday, April 26th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm
  • Wednesday, May 4th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm

Each conference will be scheduled for 15 minutes and will be conducted via Zoom. We expect that all conferences will be completed during the allotted time so our staff will be able to complete all conferences as scheduled. In those instances where it is determined that more time is required, your child’s teacher will establish another date/time for a follow up Zoom call.

All Parent-Teacher interviews will be scheduled using PowerSchool. PowerSchool will be open for you to choose your interview time from Monday, April 18, 2022 at 8:00 am till will close on Friday, April 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. We would encourage you to sign up at your earliest convenience. To support those parents that are new to PowerSchool, we will be sharing a video that explains how to access and sign up for interviews.

If you require someone to assist with translation for the interview, please email Ms. Bessie Tian at bessie.tian@cisbeijing.com indicating the time, date, and which teacher the interview is with. The deadline to request a translator is Friday, April 22nd at 4:00 pm.

After you have signed up for an interview and the interview sign up window has closed, you will receive an email from the teacher sharing the Zoom link for the interview. Please note that we will be using the waiting room feature for these Zoom calls. So that teachers can easily identify who is in the waiting room, we ask that parents/guardians sign into the Zoom call using their child’s name and grade.

尊敬的家长/监护人,

本学年第三次成绩单即将在4月15日周五发布,您可以登录ManageBac进行查询。我们将安排两个可选择的时间预约家长会,希望与您一起阅读和分析成绩单上的内容。本次家长会仅针对6年级至11年级的学生,因为12年级的学生正在为毕业考试做准备。此外,本次家长会的重点是分析学生各学科成绩,指导老师将不参加本次家长会。具体时间安排如下:

每场次Zoom家长会为15分钟。我们希望家长会按照时间表的安排进行,这样老师可以与所有的家长进行一对一的会议。如果您需要了解更多关于学生学习情况的信息,老师将会为您安排另外的Zoom会议时间。

本次家长会是通过PowerSchool系统进行预约。预约通道将在4月18日上午8:00开启,4月22日下午3:00关闭。请您尽快预约,提前安排家长会的时间。同时,我们会分享家长会预约指南视频,您可以按照视频的讲解预约。

当您成功预约家长会后,与会老师将发送Zoom会议链接到您的邮箱,请您注意查收。在您进入会议链接之后,请先在会议等待室等待老师确认。为了方便老师分辨等待室的家长,请您在加入会议时将您的与会名字改为学生的名字和年级。
