Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our first report card will be released this coming Friday.  We encourage you to review your child’s progress with them by accessing their report card through ManageBac.  In addition, our teachers are looking forward to meeting with you via Zoom to discuss this report card and your child’s progress.  Teachers will be available for appointments for Parent-Teacher Interviews during the week of November 1st to 5th as follows:

  • Tuesday, November 2nd from 4:00 – 7:00 pm
  • Thursday, November 4th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm
  • Friday, November 5th from 2:45 – 4:30 pm

Each conference will be scheduled for 15 minutes and will be conducted via Zoom. We expect that all conferences will be completed during the allotted time so our staff will be able to complete all conferences as scheduled. In those instances where it is determined that more time is required, your child’s teacher will establish another date/time for a follow up Zoom call.

All Parent-Teacher interviews will be scheduled using PowerSchool.  PowerSchool will be open for you to choose your interview time from Monday, October 25, 2021 at 8:00 am till will close on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.   We would encourage you to sign up at your earliest convenience.  If you require someone to assist with translation for the interview, please email Ms. Bessie Tian at bessie.tian@cisbeijing.com indicating the time, date, and which teacher the interview is with.  To support those parents that are new to PowerSchool, we will be sharing a video that explains how to access and sign up for interviews. 

After you have signed up for an interview and the interview sign up window has closed, you will receive an email from the teacher sharing the Zoom link for the interview.  Please note that we will be using the waiting room feature for these Zoom calls.  So that teachers can easily identify who is in the waiting room, we ask that parents/guardians sign into the Zoom call using their child’s name and grade.

尊敬的家长/监护人,

本学年第一次成绩单即将在周五发布,您可以登录ManageBac进行查询。我们希望您可以和孩子一起阅读和分析成绩单上的内容。此外,我们的老师们也非常期待通过Zoom会议的形式为您解读从成绩单上反应出的学生目前的学习情况。家长会将在11月1日-5日这周举行,具体时间如下:

当您成功预约家长会后,与会老师将发送Zoom会议链接到您的邮箱,请您注意查收。为了方便老师分辨会议等待室的家长,请您在加入会议时将您的与会名字改为学生的名字和年级。
