The grade 10 PE classes had an opportunity to learn from a synchronized swimming Olympic bronze medalist and Chinese National team coach this week at CISB. The students were given two introductory lessons in the basics of synchronized swimming as part of their PE curriculum. The fun included backwards flips in the water, side swimming, a coordinated group inner and outer circle, and culminated in building a class Christmas tree in the water. Thanks to the guest coaches for our students’ new and exciting experience.

Through the two short courses, the children in the tenth grade of the school were exposed to the most basic movements of synchronized swimming. The students were actively engaged in the synchronized swimming project. This is a project that combines sports and art. It can cultivate children’s artistic performance skills at the same time. It can also cultivate teamwork ability.

Long-term adherence to water sports can also exercise the children’s immunity. In the future, we can build bridges through synchronized swimming to establish communication and exchanges with synchronized swimming clubs at home and abroad. We look forward to more students joining us.
