Our whole journey with the Stage Kittens Jr. has been a lot of fun! When we first decided to do a musical production with our kindergarten to grade 2 students, we didn’t know what to expect. A lot of questions came to mind. How will they learn their lines? Can we complete the whole production as scheduled? How independent can they be? After all, it was the first time for any of us as directors to be doing a full musical production with 5 to 8 year-old students.

We were very impressed with how prepared our students were on the 1st day of rehearsals. Most of them already knew the 1st song! The parents were also very supportive and excited for their child/children. After a few rehearsals, all our worries were replaced with awe! Our Stage Kitten Juniors were phenomenal! They were:

  • knowledgeable of their roles
  • courageous in performing in front of others
  • good communicators as they take turns and listen to each other
  • caring for helping each other with knowing their dance and lines and where to be on stage and
  • balanced as they make sure to have fun while working hard during rehearals.

We’d like to thank everyone who was involved throughout the process of The Goblin Next Door musical production!

Congratulations to our Stage Kittens Jr. for their success in doing four complete performances! We are so proud of you!
