CISB is delighted to announce a partnership with the Gryphon Group, Vancouver. Over the next three years, Gryphon will be sponsoring scholarships for CISB and BCCSC students to attend a University in Vancouver. These scholarships are an incredible opportunity for well-deserved students to attend a University in Canada.

On Friday, the 26th of November, Mr Gu from Gryphon Group, Mr. Prescott, CISB Head of School/ AKD Superintendent and Mr. Troung, CISB Board Director, signed the Scholarship Program Agreement.

For almost 30 years, Gryphon has delivered outstanding property developments and helped shape communities. In the same way that Gryphon reimagined its role in crafting homes, they have reimagined how they can support the people-to-people relationships between China and Canada. Gryphon has a rich history of creating inspired living in Taiwan (Jinary) and now, globally. Gryphon is collaborating with AKD because they are dedicated to supporting “the next generation spreading their wings, set on finding new forms of inspiration across the ocean.” This scholarship is designed to motivate and reward those students who strive for academic and personal excellence in their studies and extracurricular activities.

Students who meet the academic requirements, extracurricular achievements and who are accepted into a University in the Vancouver area will be eligible. The scholarship will be in the amount of RMB 30,000 awarded to the deserving student(s) at CISB and BCCSC of the graduating class.

“Today’s scholarship signing demonstrated another big step for CISB in advancing our academic excellence and preparing global citizens. This scholarship awards students with both achievements in academic and soft skills.” Andy Truong, Board Director

Details on the application process and edibility requirements will be announced with the 2022 Scholarship Program details.

CISB is grateful for this opportunity to collaborate with the Gryphon Group and support our outstanding students who are accepted and choose to attend a university in Vancouver, Canada.
