We are delighted to update the CISB community concerning the recently elected CISB Parent Association Executive Committee. The names of the committee members and the positions they represent are listed above under the picture.
The CISB Parent Association Executive Committee consists of a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary, along with 4 [Four] School Representatives—one parent from each of our preschool, elementary, middle, and high school. The Executive Committee will conduct four annual meetings—two during each school term.
The “Executive Committee” will work in collaboration with the Head of School and with the coordinators of the volunteer activities as identified below (potential activities) to provide support to –[1] the school and staff by organizing, managing, and contributing to ongoing or yearly events and activities; [2]-to build and promote a sense of community throughout the school and [3]-to bring into closer relationship the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of children.
