This year, we will continue this tradition with an even more varied programme, offering a wide range of options for students at all levels. 2024 Summer Camps Highlights

101 Kindergarten Creative Camp

At the CISB Special Kindergarten Creative Summer Camp, children embark on a joyful learning journey, enjoying the fun of learning and reaping the benefits of growth.
The camp offers a wide range of programmes: Reading Classes focus on developing reading habits and expanding thinking; Creative English Groups stimulate interest in English and facilitate creative expression; Chinese Language and Culture Studies promote appreciation of Chinese culture; Arts and Crafts develop hands-on skills; Music Appreciation introduces the beauty of rhythms; and Sports build up a strong body.Kindergarten K2 – K6 includes Kung Fu, Swimming, and Gymnastics; and Kindergarten K3 – K6 features a Science Discovery Class.
The programme’s highlight is the natural spelling programme, which is divided into two levels. The primary class focuses on natural spelling, explaining the difference between the pronunciation of names and letters, and teaching letter writing. The intermediate class innovatively selects age-appropriate English books, guides children to read sentences, improves reading literacy, and helps them advance in English.

201 CISB Summer Enrichment Camp

The CISB Comprehensive Enrichment Summer Camp is committed to creating a comprehensive and high-quality curriculum system, and dedicated to paving the way for their growth and progress.

The CISB Summer Camp spares no effort to build a safe, worry-free, and healthy learning environment. Based on carefully organized and orderly planned teaching activities and equipped with outstanding and excellent teaching staff, it fully enables students to participate deeply. During this process, students can not only fully enjoy the leisurely and carefree vacation but also achieve breakthroughs in social skills and sports abilities, explore their potential in multiple dimensions, and realize the advanced transformation of their comprehensive qualities.

301 & 401 INTENSIVE ENGLISH

Secondary School Admission Test (Middle) for Grades 5-7 & (Upper) for Grade 8-9

The Intensive English Programme is designed for students in grades 5-7 and 8-9, and is focused on students who want to improve their overall English language skills. The programme offers in-depth coverage of sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary development, strategic reading, and creative writing. Participation in this programme will provide a significant boost to vocabulary building and preparation for the test for students planning to take the SSAT.

During the course, students will be encouraged to write on a variety of topics, immerse themselves in exciting readings, and learn new types of grammar. Students will share their best work with their study groups or online platforms to promote shared learning. Attendance at lectures and consistent class participation will be acknowledged and rewarded.

The two-week course will run from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 15:30, with a total of 60 hours of classroom time, and students will receive 6 hours of intensive training every day to ensure that their learning is effective. All students are expected to focus on the course and complete the assignments as required to achieve the best learning outcomes. Please check the timetable for further details.

501 for Grades 9-11

The SAT test is one of the most important hurdles for American high school students on their way to college. Typically, students who score 2000 and above are expected to knock on the door of the top 20 colleges and universities in the United States. In recent years, demand for higher education in the U.S. has risen and competition has heated up, so students who excel on the SAT and achieve high scores will greatly increase their chances of being accepted into their desired colleges and obtaining internships.

This boutique course is a two-week course that runs from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 15:30, with a cumulative total of 60 hours of class time. Taught by an experienced SAT expert, the course offers 6 hours of intensive training each day, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, reading and maths, to ensure that you get the results you need.
