The CISB Swim Team delivered impressive performances at the ACAMIS swim competition, reflecting their skill in the pool, dedication, and team spirit. Due to their persistent training and cohesive teamwork, the swimmers achieved significant success.

A standout moment was when Jessica Li, a seasoned swimmer on the team, secured first place in the highly competitive 15 and over 100-meter backstroke event. Jessica shared her thoughts on the race: “Before the backstroke finals, I was nervous but focused. I kept reminding myself of the techniques my coach taught me. I was thrilled with the result when I finished the race and saw my time.”

In addition to Jessica’s achievement, the team displayed excellent teamwork during the challenging relay events. Karen Li, Anne Zhang, Nanako Mayuzumi, and Jessica Li clinched an impressive 5th place among 13 teams in both the 200-meter Freestyle relay and the 200-meter Medley relay.

Congratulations to the entire Swim Team for their outstanding achievements at the ACAMIS competition. Their collective efforts, from individual races to team relays, highlight the spirit of CISB – where hard work, determination, and teamwork pave the way to excellence.
