DH Science

Francisco de la Serna Sabate holds a Doctorate in Marine Science and Technology with many years of experience working in laboratories around the world (Japan, Australia, USA, Panama, etc.). Mr. de la Serna Sabate has educated children in the AP and IB programs. His teaching specialties include general Science for middle school/MYP, and Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Science for high school/DP. Science is the subject that explains why things happen the way they do, why we get sick and recover, how birds fly and not fall to the ground, how food is made, why it rains and where the water goes, and so much more! Science is better understood when it is relevant to the student's life, especially when they can discover it independently through experiments. As such, he makes a point to do as much experiential lab work as possible to complete the student's education.
