Lisa holds a Bachelor's degree from Beijing International Studies University, teaching certifications from the Chinese Ministry of Education, a Certification in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and a North American Montessori Teaching Credential.

With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, 17 of which have been focused on the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), she is deeply passionate about providing students with a well-rounded learning experience. In addition to teaching Chinese language courses to grades 1-5 for both native and non-native speakers, she also serves as an IB workshop leader.

Guided by John Dewey's educational philosophy, which believed that the essence of education is life itself, her goal is to create dynamic, student-centered learning environments that foster holistic growth and development. As an IBEN-trained educator, she is committed to the IB's mission of developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who can positively shape the world around them.
