Maria Hadjicharalambous is from Cyprus. She earned her Bachelor's from Panteion University of Athens, Greece and did her Master's in Applied Social Studies in Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University in the U.K. She an accredited Systemic Family Psychotherapist by the European Association of Psychotherapy, and an ECP holder.
She worked as a psychologist in a therapeutic community program in Cyprus for drug addicts, supporting young users for three years. For the last 12 years, she has worked as a family psychotherapist supporting patients with chronic illness and their families and counselling individuals, couples and families. She is very interested in the field of family therapy and positive psychology.
She loves animals and enjoys travelling and exploring nature with her family and friends.
She is very excited to have joined the CISB team.
Her inspirations are her three children.
