The Canadian International School of Beijing’s (CISB) Parent’s Association kicked off the 2024-25 school year with a spirited start by playing a pivotal role in organizing the revitalized Terry Fox Marathon of Hope at Chaoyang Park. This inaugural event was not only an opportunity to bring together the school community but also served as a meaningful way to honor the legacy of Terry Fox, whose courageous battle against cancer continues to inspire millions worldwide.
Families, students, and staff came together for a day filled with energy and enthusiasm, participating in the marathon to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. The vibrant atmosphere was complemented by various activities, including a welcome speech, a warm-up session led by fitness instructors, and an assortment of food stalls offering refreshments.
