This Monday, November 25th, was a day to remember at CISB as we officially launched our Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Bronze Program! The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as 14 eager participants joined hands with school leaders and award mentors to celebrate the start of this transformative journey. With the Head of School, Principal, and Vice Principal in attendance, this event wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a call to adventure, resilience, and growth!

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), a globally recognized program, empowers young individuals to step out of their comfort zones and embrace challenges in skill-building, physical activity, voluntary service, and adventurous journeys. It’s not just about ticking off goals—it’s about shaping future leaders, fostering teamwork, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

A Launch Full of Purpose

The event kicked off with inspiring words from the Head of School Mr. James McCrory who emphasized the program’s significance: “This is not just an award; it’s an opportunity to discover your potential and make a meaningful impact.” The Principal Mr. Flynn Boyle and Vice Principal Mr. David Bremner sharing their pride in seeing our students embrace this prestigious challenge.
