On Friday, December 6, Grade 5 students hosted an exciting showcase to celebrate their unit on “How the World Works,” focusing on matter.
The event featured interactive student displays highlighting the three states of matter—solids, liquids, and gases—emphasizing the molecular level of each state, along with engaging demonstrations on measuring matter using various tools.
Some students also explored the fourth state of matter, plasma, in their presentations. Students illustrated how matter changes states through their creative projects.
The showcase highlighted their enthusiasm and understanding of the topic, bringing the community together to celebrate the hard work and creativity of our young scientists.
