Our Early Years and Elementary School classes were buzzing with a renewed energy for writing this past week!
CISB had the great pleasure of welcoming internationally renowned literacy consultant and author, Matt Glover, for an immersive professional learning experience.
For those unfamiliar with his work, Matt Glover is a leading authority with over 35 years of experience as a teacher, principal, and consultant. He specializes in nurturing passionate and skilled writers by focusing on student voice, choice, and oral language composition from the very beginning of their literacy journey.
Mr. Glover worked closely with our teachers and students, sharing innovative strategies to inspire and develop young writers. His visit was both enriching and rewarding, equipping our educators with fresh, engaging methods to foster a true love of writing in every child.
A heartfelt thank you to Matt Glover, and to our Early Years and Elementary School team for the thoughtful planning and collaboration. It was a wonderful and meaningful opportunity for our entire CISB community, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional literacy education.
