Yesterday, CISB was alive with color, music, and flavors from around the world as our school community came together for its much-anticipated International Festival 2025. The event, a celebration of the school’s rich cultural diversity, brought together students, parents, staff, and local partners for a day filled with performances, food, and cross-cultural exchange.
For the first time, students, parents, staff, and community members and partners proudly carried their national flags and walked as a part of a vibrant opening procession.
The Parade of Nations — inspired by the Olympic Games’ tradition of unity — visually represented the school’s multicultural fabric, with participants beaming as they showcased their heritage. From Canada to China, Sierra Leone to the Philippines, and beyond, it was a moving testament to the many nationalities that make up the CISB family.
The festival grounds buzzed with excitement as attendees explored food stalls offering global cuisines. Parents and students collaborated to serve traditional dishes, while local vendors and school partners added even more delicious options. From savory street food to sweet treats, the event was a feast for the senses!
The stage came alive with performances by students, staff, parents, and community members, featuring everything from traditional dances to contemporary music. Middle and High School students organized games and activities for younger attendees, fostering leadership and camaraderie, and a cozy reading corner provided a quiet retreat for families with little ones, making the festival enjoyable for all ages.
Behind the scenes, CISB’s operations and facilities teams worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and successful event, while the Parent Association and International Festival Committee dedicated months of planning to bring the vision to life.
