Though it had rained the day before, the weather turned out sunny and breezy, perfect for a day outdoors. On the bus ride, students enjoyed views of green fields and blooming flowers, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead.
They visited the cow yard to feed cows and observe them up close, then explored the animal nursery, home to baby sheep and calves. At the rabbit house, students fed rabbits fresh grass and watched them hop around. The chicken house featured free-range hens and roosters living among walnut trees, with music playing to encourage organic egg-laying.
Service as Action trip 2025
Around noon, everyone enjoyed a packed lunch in a scenic pavilion, surrounded by trees and flowers. At 1pm, it was time to head back—though reluctantly. Tired and happy, many students dozed off on the bus ride home.
A truly memorable trip; one that provided students a chance to experience farm life first-hand and enjoy unique experiences beyond the typical classroom setting.
