A legacy etched in excellence — on May 16th, CISB proudly unveiled its Honor Board, a striking tribute to the school’s highest student achievements and a powerful symbol of its enduring values. Showcasing the most prestigious awards presented to graduating students each year, the Honor Board both celebrates individual accomplishment and inspires our future leaders.

Launched as part of CISB’s preparations for its 20th anniversary in the upcoming 2025-26 Academic Year, the Honor Board reflects and ensures that the school’s legacy of success and unwavering commitment to excellence remain at the forefront of the community.

The unveiling ceremony brought together Grade 11 and 12 students, alumni, staff, CISB Leadership, and the CISB Board. The ribbon-cutting was led by Dr. Charles Pang (CISB Executive Director), Ms. Sophia Zhang (Board Member & Director of Operations), Mr. James McCrory (Head of School), and Mr. Ewan McInnis (Alumnus and Past Award Recipient).

Students connected with Ewan’s personal reflections, offering a glimpse into how recognition can inspire a lifelong pursuit of excellence.

During the ceremony, Mr. McCrory encouraged students to envision their names on the Honor Board, reminding them that success at CISB is not measured by academics alone, but by qualities such as leadership, resilience, and integrity.

More than a showcase of awards, the Honor Board embodies CISB’s mission of developing learners into passionate leaders. As students walk past it each day, right outside the Middle and High School Academic Office, it will stand as a source of pride, a mark of legacy, and a call to aim higher.
