CISB Reflects: 2024-25 Academic Year
The 2024-25 Academic Year at CISB was full of purpose, passion, and progress! Our halls were filled with curiosity, our fields and gyms full of determination and grit, and our stages with talent.
Together – as learners, educators, families, and friends – we built something extraordinary. CISB continues to inspire students to inquire, lead, create, and connect.
Here are some of our favorite highlights from the past school year:
Academic Excellence
Inquiry-driven learning and innovative teaching; some key milestones include PYP Exhibition, TEDx Youth@CISB, TOK Exhibition, CANMUN, and more dynamic interdisplinary, cross-curricular projects that blended languages, arts, sciences, and more.
Community Spirit
Building community was a key focus this year, and our school came together like never before. From Spirit Day, our first-ever CISB Sports Day to the spectacular International Festival, featuring our first-ever Olympic-style Parade of the Nations. Service learning remained a cornerstone, empowering students to lead with empathy and take action.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Outdoor and experiential learning opportunities, such as during Week Without Walls, the relaunch of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, student-led field research, and inspiring guest speakers allowed students to extend their learning far beyond textbooks.
The Arts
From drama productions, gallery walks to music show-cases and collaborative art exhibitions; major highlights include Arts Week and Arts Night, CISB StageKitten’s production, The Island That Rocks! and first-ever Dance Showcase & Bobcats Film Festival.
Sports & Wellness
The debut of our CISB Sports Day and newly estab-lished House system was a roaring success that united our entire community through spirited competition and celebration. Further, across divisions, Bobcats competed in tournaments, developed athletic skill, and discover-ed the power of teamwork and resilience.
As we bid farewell to the 2024-25 Academic Year, we extend our thanks to our dedicated teachers, staff, families, and students for everything; your passion, drive, and determination.
