This week, we introduced our current G10 students to our High School Pathways Program, one of the most meaningful processes we run for our High School students and families.
We kicked things off with a joint parent-student information session exploring the options available in Grade 11: the Canadian High School Diploma and the IB Diploma Program. Students and parents heard directly about what each pathway involves, the demands, and the opportunities each one opens to them. We also explored the crucial areas like sleep, study habits, stress and anxiety, and screentime.
This was followed by a dedicated session with Heads of Department, giving families a deeper look at the courses and what to expect from each program.
Next week, the individual Pathways meetings begin. Each student and parent sits down with our Principal, Vice Principal, Programme Coordinators, Grade Level Leader, and University Counselors for a personalised conversation about the right fit for their future.
Pathways meetings continue in Grade 11 and 12, all the way through to graduation so we can ensure all our grads have a meaningful journey to success after finishing at CISB.
This is Pathways. And it’s one of the many great things we do for our High School students.
