On May 22, our Student Council hosted CISB’s first-ever off-campus prom at ITB Flora Garden Restaurant, bringing together more than 70 students from Grades 9-12 for a memorable night of celebration, connection, and school spirit.
From great food and music to fun activities and shared moments with friends, the evening was filled with laughter, energy, and memories that will stay with our students long after graduation. A special thank you to our Student Council and staff organizers for making this milestone event possible.
This was our first attempt at hosting a Prom off-campus. From the Student Council’s perspective, it was more than just a regular student activity – it marked an important milestone achieved through the joint efforts of both the school and Student Council.
In the early stages of planning, we encountered various challenges: the distance of potential venues, costs, size, and decoration issues – all of which required careful consideration and trade-offs. Fortunately, we were able to secure a venue thanks to Yoyo, which laid a critical foundation for the success of the Prom.
During the months‑long preparation phase, every member of the Student Council played a part. Some were responsible for making promotional videos, some handled venue coordination and external communication, and others took charge of purchasing supplies. It was the close collaboration among the team, together with strong support from the school administration, that made CISB Prom 2026 possible.
To create a livelier atmosphere, we also specially designed a few games, hoping to bring everyone more joy and unforgettable memories. In the end, the dance attracted over 70 students — a truly encouraging turnout.
We would like to express our special thanks to the school administration — Mr. Boyle and Mr. Bremner — for their support; to the teachers — Mr. Wright, Mrs. Pollock, Ms. Thompson, and Ms. Emma — for their assistance; and to the Student Council members — Phoebe, Macy, Simon, Jannet, Amanda, and Mathew — for their hard work.
This Prom marks the first vivid example of the Student Council, the school administration, and the students working together in a large-scale off-campus event.
