Yesterday morning, the CISB community came together for the 2026 Terry Fox School Run, joining people around the world in continuing Terry Fox’s legacy of courage, determination, and hope.
Students, families, staff, and members of our wider community here in Beijing gathered on campus before setting off together — running, walking, strolling, and coming together to show support for an incredibly important cause.
Together, our community raised nearly 50,000 RMB this year in the fight against cancer — surpassing last year’s fundraising total!
More than a school event, the Terry Fox Run is an opportunity to raise awareness and contribute to the ongoing fight against cancer. Through this year’s officially recognized event, held in partnership with the Terry Fox Foundation (Canada), all donations will support cancer research in China and Canada.
Throughout the morning, it was wonderful to see participants of all ages taking part, encouraging one another, and sharing in the spirit of the event.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part. Let’s continue to honour the legacy of Terry Fox and the values he stood for. Together.
