Penny Liu is from Beijing, China. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Preschool Education from Beijing Normal University. She has been working at CISB since 2010. With 15 years of experience in PYP education—including eight years as a PYP Coordinator—Penny is deeply committed to supporting our teachers in delivering an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary programme. She also serves as an IBEN workshop leader and school visit team member, bringing valuable insights and current best practices from the wider IB community into our school.

She believes that every student is capable, curious, and full of potential. When given the opportunity to ask questions, explore their interests, and take ownership of their learning, students become confident, compassionate, and lifelong learners.
