CANMUN V: The Architecture of Peace: Conflict resolutions in 21st Century took place at CISB this past weekend, 6-7 June 2026.
It was wonderful to see young delegates from ISB, BCIS, Beijing No 80 High School, BWYA, our out of town delegates from the Western International School of Shanghai and those representing themselves as individuals gather for an engaging and insightful two-day CANMUN V.
The event featured lively debates, resolutions, and amendments focused on current issues such as privacy, AI, regional conflicts and mental health.
We were honored to have Mo Shengkai, Associate Professor at the Department of International Politics, School of International Relations & National Security Studies, University of International Relations Beijing as our keynote speaker, providing an inspirational and scene setting address.
Mr. Flynn Boyle, Middle/High School Principal, welcomed the delegates and other attendees on behalf of CISB. Under the leadership of Ms. Emma Engebreston, as MUN Coordinator, along with CISB students Kirby, Rucha, Lincoln, and Ziyang, and CISB alumni, Harry and Arthur, CANMUN V was a grand success.
Further, the theme was relevant and timely, leading to great interaction and debate.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported CANMUN V. We look forward to seeing many of the attendees again at CANMUN VI in 2027!
