CISB Field Trips & Outdoor Learning Experiences
At CISB, we believe that some of the most powerful learning happens beyond the classroom walls. Our field trip programmes provide students with rich, hands-on learning experiences across Beijing, China, and the world, helping them connect classroom concepts to real-world contexts.
From museums and farms to cultural landmarks, charities, and science centres, students across all grade levels take part in thoughtfully planned trips that extend their learning, inspire curiosity, and foster community engagement.

Week Without Walls (Grades 3–12)
Our annual Week Without Walls (WWW) programme invites students in Grades 3 through 12 to step out of their comfort zones and into meaningful, place-based learning experiences across China and abroad.
These immersive, grade-level trips are designed to:
- Cultivate personal growth and independence
- Foster teamwork, leadership, and resilience
- Encourage cultural appreciation and a global mindset
Each experience is unique, developmentally appropriate, and intentionally aligned with CISB’s values of inquiry, compassion, and international-mindedness.
