Dean is originally from Hamilton, Canada, but he has spent the majority of his teaching career overseas. He has experience teaching at schools in Singapore, Australia, South Korea, China, and Vietnam prior to joining the CISB community. He has an Honours Bachelor’s degree from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. He has also taken a number of additional qualification courses with an emphasis on ELL and special education.
Dean strives to create an inclusive classroom where students support each other in pursuit of their academic goals. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, being active and staying fit.
