Dr Feeney holds joint Irish/UK nationality and is a UK qualified teacher educator who holds a PHD in Meta Physics and a Master’s in Physics from University of Lancaster. Dr Feeney brings over 13 years teaching High School Physics courses in the UK, Turkey and China. In his previous schools he has a strong history of raising student achievement in and increasing student participation in Physics.

Dr Feeney is married and has a son who is starting computer engineering at university this summer in Istanbul. Dr Feeney loves to read books and is a self-proclaimed ‘nerd’ who loves computer games, movies, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. and is an avid Rugby union fan. In his younger days he was a club level boxer. He also enjoys puzzles, crosswords, and, of course, beautiful physics problem solutions.
