Mr. Sechovec is a Language Acquisition English Teacher for the Middle Years Programme. He is from Dallas, Texas (USA). Mr. Sechovec has been teaching English in China for the past ten years and recently completed his Master of Education. Over the last decade, Joe has developed an extensive background in language learning. He has taught English to learners of all ages and proficiency levels from kindergarten to university.

He strives to create a learning environment that uses participatory teaching and learning methods that motivate and empower learners while promoting critical thinking, self-agency, and collaboration. Joe joined AKD International Education in August 2015. In his free time, he enjoys being with his wife and daughter.
