Ms Mena Fahmi is an Ontario certified Canadian teacher. While originally from Cairo, Egypt, Mena grew up in Ottawa, Ontario where she is currently completing a Master of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa, with a research focus on curriculum implementation.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa. She brings over five years of teaching experience in the areas of mathematics, student support services, and special education.
Ms Fahmi’s intellectual pursuits sit at the intersection of Math, History, and Art, as she continually looks for meaningful ways to try and incorporate their interconnectedness in the classroom to enhance students’ learning experiences.

Away from teaching, Mena loves to discover new parts of nature with her family and thoroughly enjoys physical and outdoor activities, as well as reading old books.
