Mr Johnson is joining CISB as the DP Coordinator and will also teach Design Technology and support the CISB College Counselling Programme. He is a qualified UK teacher with international education Principal's certification from the Ontario Principals Council. He also has professional qualifications in leadership and training from the University of Oxford and the University of Cape Town. He also has an MBA a Degree in Education in Design and Technology.

Mr Johnson is a highly seasoned international educational leader with 27 years' experience including leadership roles in Malawi, Tanzania, Norway, the UK, and China. This includes multiple roles including, 10 years as DP Coordinator, MYP Coordinator, Deputy Head, Extended Essay Coordinator, Head of Department and teacher of Design Technology.

He is also experienced in staff development and contributes remotely, part-time, to the University of Buckingham's teacher training and education programmes.

Mr Johnson is married to an experienced kindergarten teacher, and they have three children: one of whom recently graduated with the IB Diploma, another who is just beginning the IB Diploma Programme, and a third who is starting Grade 4.
