
Rydah Parry
Ms Rydah Parry is the new Head of Department for Visual Arts. Hailing from Australia, she holds a Master's in Education from the University of Melbourne, a PGCE and a Degree in the Arts from Perth.
Ms Parry brings over 14 years teaching Visual Arts in various programmes including the PYP, MYP and DP, in Egypt, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Timor-Leste, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This includes experience as a Head of Department.
She has a passion for creativity, culture, and exploration and encourages her students to express themselves through art while helping them discover the stories that shape their world.
Outside the classroom, Ms Parry enjoys listening to audiobooks while exercising, watercolour painting, visiting art museums and bike adventures with her son. Her interests include intrepid travel, photography, anthropology, and ancient architecture—all of which inspire and inform her teaching and artistic practice.
