A look back at some of the key events in and around CISB — from mooncake-making fun in the Early Years to raising awareness with Mental Health Week across the school. We hope these past few weeks activities have inspired joy, connection, and highlighted the importance of coming together to celebrate both culture and care.

Mid-Autumn Festival Activities – Early Years

Pre-Kindergarten students embraced tradition with mooncake-making activities led by their teachers, some supported by Sodexo and parents! Working side by side, mixing dough, shaping their own creations, and sharing laughter in the process.

“Each little mooncake that emerged was a testament to their creativity and teamwork.”
— Ms. Sun Lu (PK Teacher & Head of Montessori)

“It was so fun to shape the mooncakes!”
— Moretti (PK student)

“I loved mixing the ingredients!”
— Jinhao (PK student)

Mental Health Day

“Community: Supporting Mental Wellbeing Together — You Are Not Alone” was the theme of the day, as our school marked Mental Health Day with shared commitment and compassion. Students and staff wore green, took part in lessons on mental health awareness, and added their handprints to a collective display — a powerful symbol of unity and advocacy.

Why green? It is the international color of mental health, representing growth, hope, and renewal.

“Mental health matters. By standing together, we can break the stigma and foster a culture of compassion and understanding.”

—Ms. Daisy Guevara (MS/HS Counselor/Psychologist)

Thank you to our students, staff, and families! Together, we learn, grow, and thrive.
