On January 21, the “Little Home” founded by Beijing One Heart Sphere Charity Foundation and PUMCH (Peking Union Medical College Hospital) launched the opening ceremony at PUMCH. A group of delegation of CISB lead by Mr. James McCrory, Head of School, Mr. Andy Truong, Board of Director and Mr. Vincent Tam, Director of Programs and Activities attended the event.
The “Little Home” at PUMCH tentatively started in September 23, 2024, it has offered room for 21 families who came from all over the country to PUMCH to seek treatment, which greatly helped those families in difficulty, furthermore, it brings warmth and hope to the patients and their families.
Mr. James McCrory made a speech on the ceremony. He recognizes the value of the initiative and declares that he is honored to donate the proceed of the CISB Charity Bazaar which was held on December 2024 to provide a room for family who has patient being treated in PUMCH. He hopes that more CISB staff and students will be involved in this meaningful action.
After the ceremony, the company went to the “Little Home” located in Hua Qiao Cun, Jianguomenwai Avenue. After visiting the apartment, the group witnessed the G11 student Lincoln Jiang signing memorandum to start his own foundation, to tack action in helping more people in need.
