A Clean Sweep!
It was a historic weekend for the CISB Bobcats at the ACAMIS Volleyball Championships, hosted by Shanghai Community International School (SCIS), as both our boys’ and girls’ teams emerged as undefeated champions!
In an outstanding display of skill, teamwork, and determination, our Bobcats finished the tournament with a combined 14-0 record, bringing home two gold medals and achieving something never before accomplished in CISB history: both the boys’ and girls’ teams winning ACAMIS gold at the same tournament!

BOYS

For our girls’ team, the victory was particularly special, marking their fourth consecutive ACAMIS championship title. This remarkable achievement reflects the consistency, dedication, and strong team culture that have been built within the programme over the years at CISB.
Our boys’ team was equally outstanding, delivering an unbeaten performance to claim the championship title and complete a historic double for CISB. Their achievement marks a significant milestone for the programme and adds another proud chapter to the Bobcats’ sporting history.
Beyond the impressive results, both teams demonstrated tremendous resilience, sportsmanship, and team spirit throughout the competition. They represented CISB with pride, both on and off the court, and have given our entire school community plenty to celebrate.
A huge thank you goes to our dedicated coaches — Mr. Kenneth Manderville, Mr. Stef Bergh, Dr. Michael Feeney, Ms. Karen Barros Vega, and Mr. Brett Mitchell — for their hard work, commitment, and continued support of our student-athletes.
Their guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in helping our teams reach these incredible heights.
A special shout-out to our Athletic Director, Mr. Brett Mitchell, for his leadership and remarkable support in making this achievement possible.
Once again, congratulations to all our players and coaches on an unforgettable tournament. Two teams, 14 wins, zero losses, and two gold medals — a truly historic achievement for our CISB Bobcats!
