On Friday, June 12, the Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing. The ceremony marked the culmination of each graduate’s CISB journey and the beginning of an exciting new chapter — surrounded by family, friends, teachers, and distinguished guests.
The evening was a celebration of both personal and collective achievement, as well as the perseverance and growth that defined the Class of 2026. Throughout the ceremony, students reflected on their experiences, shared memories, and looked ahead to the many opportunities that await them beyond CISB.
We were honoured to welcome distinguished guests including Mr. Mark Richardson, Chargé d’Affaires of the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, and Mr. David Perez-Rosiers, Managing Director of CCBC, who joined our school community in recognizing the accomplishments of this exceptional graduating class.

The Class of 2026 leaves CISB with a remarkable legacy of academic achievement. Collectively, our 32 graduates received more than 150 university offers from 92 institutions around the world, with offers spanning Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. This represents a record-breaking year for our graduates, with students receiving an average of more than 5 university offers each and total scholarship awards increasing by more than 300% over the past two years.
Among these achievements were offers from highly regarded global institutions.
These results reflect not only the dedication and hard work of our students, but also the strength of CISB’s personalized Pathways Programme, which supports students in exploring their interests, identifying future goals, and finding the educational pathway that best suits their aspirations.
As we celebrate the Class of 2026, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to every graduate and to each of their families. We look forward to seeing the impact that they will make as they continue their journeys across the globe.
