CISB Sports Awards Banquet 2026
Athletic Director, Mr. Brett Mitchell
Volleyball
One of the major highlights of the year was CISB hosting the ACAMIS U19 Volleyball Tournament in Beijing. Our teams made the most of the opportunity, with the U19 girls winning their third consecutive ACAMIS championship and the boys finishing second after a hard-fought final. At the U14 level, girls’ volleyball saw outstanding participation, with close to 40 players across three teams. The U14 boys also showed steady improvement throughout the season and earned a third-place finish in ISAC Division 2.
Basketball
Our U19 boys continued their impressive run by winning their fourth consecutive ACAMIS championship, once again showing the consistency and competitive strength of the program. The U19 girls also made strong progress this year, with many key players returning next season. At the U14 level, girls’ basketball had two full teams, giving many students valuable competitive experience. The U14 boys fought hard throughout the season and finished second in ISAC Division 3.
Football
Our U19 boys had another strong season, supported by excellent goalkeeping and determined team play. Although they came just short of defending their ACAMIS title, they finished second in ISAC and remained highly competitive throughout the year. The U19 girls faced a challenging season due to injuries, but their commitment, unity, and positive spirit were recognized with the Spirit of ACAMIS Award.

Overall, the 2025-26 school year has been one of achievement, participation, and growth for CISB Athletics. Our teams won championships, earned podium finishes, hosted a major ACAMIS tournament, and represented the Bobcats across a wide range of sports. Just as importantly, our student-athletes showed teamwork, commitment, and pride in every competition.
We are also deeply grateful to our amazing coaches, whose tireless work, dedication, and care make these opportunities possible for our students. Their commitment to developing athletes, building teams, and supporting students throughout the year has been central to the continued growth of CISB Athletics.
As we look ahead, the future of CISB Athletics is bright. With strong senior programs, growing U14 participation, and expanding opportunities across both team and individual sports, we are excited to continue building on this year’s success.
