Canada Week is just around the corner!
Next week, we’ll be celebrating Canadian culture, history, food, music, and community across CISB.
From Thanksgiving Lunch and Canadian university visit opportunities to House activities, Canadian-inspired storytelling, music, and special Dress Like a Canadian Day, there will be plenty happening on-campus throughout the week.
Here’s What’s Happening
Monday, 12 October
We’ll be kicking off Canada Week with a Thanksgiving Lunch and a special Canadian Universities Event (open to Grades 5-12).
Students will have the opportunity to explore, ask questions, and be inspired as they learn more about Canadian university pathways.
Tuesday, 13 October through to Thursday, 15 October
All week long — Canadian spirit will be woven into everyday life across the school:
– House activities
Exploring Canadian sport
– Canadian-inspired meals
Introducing traditional meals and dishes
– Subject tie-ins
Learning more about Canadian culture and history
– Canadian music
Celebrating Canadian artists
– Storytelling & Library displays

Friday, 16 October
Dress Like a Canadian Day — bring out your Canadian pride, Bobcats!
Students and staff are invited to celebrate on Dress Down Day in Canadian-inspired styles — think red & white, maple leaves, toques, plaid and more.
