Join the Festive Fun: Charity Bazaar at CISB

The Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) is thrilled to announce the eagerly awaited Charity Bazaar, which will be held on Saturday, December 7th, from 10 am to 4 pm. This event is set to be a spectacular celebration of the holiday season, providing a unique opportunity for local vendors and community members to gather in a festive environment with performances for all ages. This year, our Parent Association will host its seventh Cake-off cake making Competition at the Bazaar. All parents, staff and students are invited to put on their baker’s hats and get involved in the fun.

北京加拿大国际学校荣幸宣布，备受期待的慈善集市将于12月7日星期六上午10点至下午4点举行。本次活动将是一次精彩纷呈的节日庆祝活动，为当地商家和社区成员提供了一个独特的机会，让他们在一个充满节日气氛的环境中欢聚一堂，并为所有年龄段的人们带来精彩的表演。今年，我校家长会将在集市上举办第七届 Cake-off 蛋糕制作比赛。欢迎所有家长、教职员工和学生戴上烘焙帽，参与其中。

A Market Extravaganza 集市盛会

The Charity Bazaar is more than just an event; it’s a vibrant celebration of community, culture, and the joyful spirit of the holidays. Local vendors are invited to present their products and crafts in a lively marketplace, which will form the heart of our holiday fair. From handcrafted gifts to delicious festive foods, the market is an excellent opportunity for vendors to showcase their unique products to a diverse and enthusiastic audience.

慈善集市不仅仅是一场活动，它还是一场充满活力的社区、文化和节日欢乐精神的庆典。我们邀请当地商家在热闹的集市上展示他们的产品和手工艺品，这将成为我们节日集市的核心。从手工制作的礼品到美味的节日食品，集市是商家向热情的不同观众展示其独特产品的绝佳机会。

Flea Market: A Platform for Young Entrepreneurs 跳蚤市场：“青年企业家”的平台

Emphasizing inclusivity and fun, the bazaar will also feature a flea market section specifically for our younger community members. Here, children can embrace the excitement of entrepreneurship by setting up their stalls to sell old toys and other items. This initiative offers kids a wonderful chance to learn about business in a fun and supportive setting.

集市强调包容性和趣味性，还将专门为我们的年轻社区成员设立跳蚤市场区。在这里，孩子们可以摆摊出售旧玩具和其他物品，体验创业的乐趣。这项活动为孩子们提供了一个在有趣和支持性的环境中学习商业知识的绝佳机会。

Gathering for a good cause 齐聚一堂，共襄善举

Proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Beijing One Sphere Heart Charity Foundation, to support “Little Home” Project. The project mainly serves the families of patients with major diseases such as blood diseases, malignant tumors and heart disease, who come from all over the country. “Little Home” provides rooms and companionship care for families with children treated in the nearest hospital.

With the support of the whole CISB community we successfully raised 71,010.26RMB during the CISB Charity Bazaar 2023 and all proceeds were used to purchase gifts for over 300 sick children, fulfilling their New Year wishes and bringing joy to their lives.

今年活动的收益将捐赠给北京同心圆公益基金会，用于支持 “爱心小家 ”项目。该项目主要服务于来自全国各地的血液病、恶性肿瘤、心脏病等重大疾病患者家庭。“爱心小家 “为在就近医院接受治疗的患儿家庭提供房间和陪伴照顾。

在整个CISB社区的支持下，我们在2023年CISB慈善义卖活动中成功筹得71,010.26元人民币，所得款项全部用于为300多名患病儿童购买礼物，满足他们的新年愿望，为他们的生活带来欢乐。
