School Bus
Our fleet of buses arrive at school each morning by 8:00-8:10am and depart right after school at 3:45pm (Mon-Thurs) and 2:45pm (Friday). A late bus that leaves by 4:45pm (Mon-Thurs) and 3:45pm (Friday) is also available to support our After-School activities program. Most bus stops are located throughout north-east Beijing and we do our best to provide additional stops when a minimum of 3 students request for one location.

Cafeteria
SODEXO is CISB’s partner, providing healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals for students of all ages. All snacks and lunch items are prepared onsite at our CISB Cafeteria.

Menu
An extensive range of meals is provided by Sodexo Food Service Company. Menu selections feature a diverse and nutritious range of food, with both Western and Chinese inspired dishes offered daily. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at sodexo@cisbeijing.com
Smart card
Students use their Student ID Card for food services at CISB. These smart cards should be maintained with a minimum positive balance of 150RMB. You can recharge the card and view balance reports either in person or using our Wechat options.

Nurse
The school clinic and dental office are open to serve students Monday to Friday, during school hours. The clinic is able to treat minor injuries, perform first aid, health screenings, and maintain students’ health records. CISB is partnered with the Beijing United Family Hospital, providing support services for accidents, emergencies, medical training and education needs, epidemic and seasonal disease prevention, physical checkups, and dental care.
Uniforms
All students are required to wear CISB school uniforms while on campus. School uniforms can be purchased at the CISB School Shop, along with a limited range of stationery items, CISB merchandise, and athletic wear.
Security
CISB provides a comprehensive 24-hour security service. Parents/guardians are required to show their CISB Parent/Guardian ID Cards to enter the school, while all visitors must register at the front gate to be issued with a Visitor’s Pass. Guards are posted at all school entrances, and the campus is equipped with CCTV and a state-of-the-art fire command center.
Our libraries
Two School Libraries and Over 25,000 Books
CISB has 2 full-service School Libraries that serve students and their families from Nursery through to Grade 12, with books, online resources, and personalized services from qualified staff. Our School Libraries are open to community members from Monday to Friday, between 7:45am to 4:45pm.
The Early Years and Elementary School Library features a student-centered design with over 15,000 books, including a home-language collection, computers and printers, along with comfortable work and reading spaces. It is also home to our Elementary School Makerspace. We provide the materials, tools, and guidance for students to be innovative and take their learning into their own hands. We love to code, build, tinker, and create!
Our Middle School and High School Library, inspired by China’s rich history, is a beautiful space that houses over 10,000 books in several languages and covering a wide range of topics. High-quality digital databases elevate student research and prepare them for their post-secondary pursuits.
