CISB’s G6-9 Science Fair Success
Our Grade 6-9 students spent weeks researching, experimenting, and testing their ideas, guided through the full scientific process. This journey transformed into the impressive final products showcased at the fair. From everyday problems to future technology, health, and the environment, every project reflected deep critical thinking and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.
CISB Achieves Outstanding Results – 2026 Math Kangaroo Competition
The Canadian International School of Beijing is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in the 2026 Math Kangaroo (MK) competition.
The competition was held at CISB on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Students from across multiple grade-levels participated enthusiastically, demonstrating perseverance, resilience, creativity, and strong mathematical reasoning skills.
CISB Spotlight: MYP Personal Project Exhibition
The atmosphere at yesterday’s MYP Personal Project Exhibition at CISB was a powerful testament to the impact of student agency. The event was a vivid showcase of what happens when young people are given the freedom to pursue their deepest passions and create their own definitions of success.

CISB Artistic Swimming Team Returns with Honors from Canada
From April 8th to 12th, 13 members of the CISB artistic swimming team, led by Mr. Vincent Tam, Director of Activities Office, and their coaches, were invited to compete in the “Jolyn Invitational” artistic swimming competition in Toronto, Canada.

As part of Book Week, our school held its annual Extreme Reading Challenge during the Chinese New Year holiday.
Students were invited to continue their reading habits over the break by taking their books to unusual, creative, and sometimes challenging locations.

Celebrating G12’s CAS 2026
The CISB CAS exhibition was an engaging and inspiring event that showcased the Grade 12 students’ journeys over the past two years. The exhibition brought together a wide range of projects, reflections, and personal achievements, with each display representing different CAS experiences from different students, from community service initiatives to creative pursuits and athletic challenges.

CISB Swim Team had a fantastic time at the Xi’an Junior ACAMIS Swim Meet! Our young swimmers really enjoyed the competition, and all of them achieved their personal bests in the 50m long pool.
